Service Issue, NyNet – 06/12/2013

We are currently experiencing slow/intermittent internet access on our NyNet networks. This has been caused by a failure of a key piece of hardware at the NyNet data centre run by Phoenix. Phoenix have replacement parts on order, and will let us know later today when we can expect full service to be restored.

In the mean time, users will experience a degraded service on the following networks:

  • Biggin Broadband
  • Nun & Moor Monkton CBN
  • Vale of Mowbray CBN

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will update this message with further information as it becomes available.

Phoenix expect replacement parts to be on site by Saturday morning.

The failed router has now been repaired, and full service restored. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
